Air Life is an emergent air ambulance company that has transported over 7,200 of our friends, neighbors and visitors in Central and Eastern Oregon in the last 15 years. When seconds count, the Bend-based ambulance service is there to provide rapid transport to dozens of Oregon communities.
Flight charges usually range from $4,000 - $9,000 depending on transport distance. Air Life is one of a few air ambulance agencies to offer a membership program. The membership program serves a dual purpose: It protects families from out-of-pocket air ambulance transportation expenses while helping offset expenses of our program. While Air Life flies anyone in medical need, member patients pay nothing out-of-pocket for their medically urgent transport. If an Air Life member requires our services, Air Life will bill the member's insurance carrier (if any) and will accept that payment as payment in full.
