Volunteers

Whirli Bird in ParadeFor more than 15 years, Air Life of Oregon has provided emergency air transport to patients east of the Cascades. In that time, we’ve flown more than 7,000 patients.

Since Air Life counts on its membership program to help underwrite the cost of providing service, our volunteers are a crucial link to get the word out in communities across the state. Over 200 volunteers in fifteen counties across Central and Eastern Oregon help spread the word about our membership program.

Why does Air Life need you?
Our volunteers provide an invaluable service by educating potential members about our program. Because Air Life reaches 250,000 residents across Central and Eastern Oregon, it is impossible for our staff to attend all public relations events that arise in each community. That’s where we count on you. Our volunteers distribute brochures, participate in community education programs, create displays, and help coordinate opportunities for presentations at local clubs and businesses.
